A lot of BL managka write the troublemaker as a character who ultimately makes you think, “if they could only find someone to understand them…” Or even if you don’t think that at first, you’ll read the extra chapter which features the bad guy finding his true love and then you find yourself thinking, “awww…”

Here, it is a conscious decision to go about things in a manner intended to elicit a response of desire or an effort to project one’s desire. A desire to touch or be touched, to be appreciated, corporeally.

The stories in Clean a Wound will drag you out of the springs and into swamps, roll you over glass shards and bathe you in sunshine.
